Truro is a beautiful city
located in Cornwall. Truro has a river port on the Truro River with access to the River Fal Estuary. In the 18th century, Truro prospered with the mines, was nicknamed “London in Cornwall.” There are excellent examples of Georgian houses, especially on Lemon Street and Walsingham Place. In 1886 started to be built, the first cathedral in England since the Middle Ages and was completed in 1900. It is an excellent example of Gothic Revival. When the mines closed, the city reconverted up and today the tourism has an important economic sector. Do not miss the Royal Cornwall Museum and the Old Assembly Rooms. Hotels in Truro
