Asuka is a small village located in Yamato area,
east of Osaka. It was one of the Ancient Imperial Capitals where the Japanese culture first flourished. Asuka was the seat of Emperor Kenzo in 485 AD and during the following 250 years, it was built 43 imperial palaces in this area.
