Basilica Sacre Coeur
At the highest point of
Montmartre district, lies a majestic white monument, the Basilica of Sacre-Coeur. The basilica was erected as a memorial to the 58,000 soldiers killed in the Franco-Prussian War and took 46 years to build. The views of Paris are breathtaking.
