Leipzig is a wonderful city in Germany.

Located in the old GDR (East Germany), Leipzig recovered from the bombings of World War II. In 1989, the peaceful Monday demonstrations that marked the beginning of the end of the East Germany Communist regime began here, in Karl Marx Platz. The Iron Curtain “began to fall” in Leipzig.
