The Royal Botanic Gardens is one of
three botanical gardens in Sydney, Mount Annan Botanical Gardens and the Mount Tomah Botanical Gardens are the others. The Royal Botanic Gardens opened in 1816 and occupy 30 hectares in area divided in Lower Gardens, Middle Gardens, Palace Gardens, Bennelong Precinct and Palm Grove Centre.
