The Kakadu National Park
is 20,000 sq km (7720 sq mi) and is located east of Darwin in Australia. It is the largest national park in Australia and includes the whole of South Alligator River that has a huge population of crocodiles. There are two types of crocodiles living in the park, Johnston crocodiles that live in fresh water and eat fish, and estuarine crocodiles, very dangerous that can even kill careless tourists. The park is home to a huge range of fauna and flora like Freshwater Fish, Dingoes, Water Buffalos, Wallabies and Kangaroos. There are about 5000 sites of aboriginal art from different eras. The town of Jabiru, in the eastern part of the park has a small airport where you can get a panoramic flight over the park in helicopters or light aircraft. The park has Camping Sites and Resorts for longer stays, is impossible to see the park in just one day. You can join a tour to Kakadu National Park in Darwin.
