Between the train stations of

Bangkok and Chiang Mai, lies Lampang a beautiful city that receives more foreign tourists than Thai. Lampang, discreet and charming, was founded in the 7th century on the banks of the Wang River. At the beginning of the 19th century, Lampang was very important in trade in teak with a british company leading the business. The first image from Lampang to visitors are the many horse drawn carriages, which are the main city transportation.
