Ko Tarutao is the largest of the 51 islands
that make up the Ko Tarutao National Marine Park in the south of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. It is one of the least developed archipelagos in Thailand, most of the islands are uninhabited and the park can only be visited for 6 months a year from November to April. In Ko Tarutao you can find white sandy beaches and an overwhelming beauty. At the park headquarters area there is a restaurant, a bar, a library, a visitors center and some bungalows that can be rented for overnight. In other beaches on the island there is also little accommodation for rent, worth a try to sleep at least one night in this beautiful island. You should visit the Crocodile Cave reached by a long-tail boat and passing through a mangrove forest. Do not forget to visit Ko Lipe and Ko Adang smaller neighbor islands. You can get Ko Tarutao by ferry from the mainland. Hotels in South Thailand
