Torres del Paine

Torres del Paine is a national park in southern Chile.

It has been a legendary destination among the worldwide community of trekkers. The Paine massif with its granite pillars with 2600 m (8530 ft) became the image of Chilean Patagonia. The landscape is very beautiful and diverse with wide-open steppes, dense green forests, thundering rivers in deep-sided valleys and rugged mountain terrain. Torres del Paine is located on the border between Chile and Argentina. The “W” is the classic route for the trekkers, it takes about four to five days. The journey includes fantastic viewpoints (miradores), especially the Las Torres viewpoint. You can get the Torres del Paine National Park by bus from the city of Puerto Natales.
