Peninsula Valdes is a UNESCO
World Heritage Site since 1999. Peninsula Valdes or Valdes Peninsula is a nature reserve located in Patagonia on the coast of Argentina. The peninsula is famous for its marine animals such as sea lions, elephant seals and whales. The only town on the peninsula is Puerto PirĂ¡mides, a very beautiful small settlement. Puerto Madryn is the nearest large town. Whale watching is one of the most important thing to do in Peninsula Valdes.
