Ngorongoro is a conservation area
and a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Tanzania. The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is Ngorongoro Crater, the world largest inactive and intact volcano caldera. The fauna and flora are amazing in this area. The crater was formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed and is 610 meters (2000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 sq km (100 sq mi).
