Nairobi is the capital of Kenya
and lies between Mombasa on the coast and Kampala, capital of Uganda. It has one of the best climates in the world, temperatures never rise above 25C (78F) and never drop below 10C (50F). Nairobi was founded in 1905 due to its excellent location close to several rivers. Mombasa replaced capital as the British Protectorate. In 1950 there were about 80,000 British living in Nairobi. It is an interesting city and an excellent starting point for the wonders of nature that Kenya has. Don’t miss the Uhuru Park, the National Museum, the Giraffe Centre, the Karen Blixen Museum and the Masai Market. Hotels in Nairobi
