Mesa Verde is a large archaeological site
located in the United States. Mesa Verde National Park was created in 1906, has more than 4000 sites, dating AD 600-1300. The Anasazi people were residents of the Four Corners region in Mesa Verde, houses were built in shallow caves. The Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum provides information about the Anasazi civilization and displays works of art of their civilization. Don’t miss the Balcony House, the Spruce Tree House, the Cliff Palace, the Far View Complex, the Cedar Tree Tower and the Ute Mountain.
