fascinating volcanic archipelago of the Central Pacific. Kauai is also known as the “Garden Island”, is covered with lush tropical vegetation due to heavy rains. It is the oldest of the islands, was formed more than six million years ago, much has changed by erosion, which created some natural wonders such as Waimea Canyon and Na Pali Coast. It is one of the least developed islands , Hawaii and quieter. Waimea Canyon, which is sometimes compared to the Grand Canyon, is 16 km (10 mi) in length and a depth of 1098 m (3600 ft). The big difference between this canyon and Arizona is that this has touches of green. The south side of the island is more sunny, that’s where the National Tropical Botanical Garden, home to several species of tropical plants and colorful. Do not miss the Hanale Bay, one of the nicest beaches on the island and the beaches around Poipu.
