Great Salt Lake
Great Salt Lake has an area of 120 km (75 mi) long
and 56 km (35 mi) wide with an average depth of 9 m (30 ft). Situated in the state of Utah in the United States, the Great Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in the western hemisphere. Salt Lake City is the major city on the shores of the lake. The water of rivers flowing into the lake bringing dissolved salt and other minerals, as there is no output, constant evaporation concentrates salt.
