The Adirondack State Park
is located in the northeastern state of New York. It occupies an area of 2.5 million ha (6.1 million acres) and is the largest park in the United States, with an area similar to the state of Vermont. There are 42 peaks that reach 1230 m (4000 ft). Don’t miss the Mount Marcy, the Algonquin Peak and the Lake Placid. There are more than 100 towns and villages within the park boundaries.
