Milford Sound is the best known

fjord of New Zealand. It is part of Fiordland National Park along with 15 other fjords. Situated on the South Island of New Zealand, Milford Sound and the surrounding area have the best trails in the country. Dominated by 1412 m (4633 ft) of Mitre Peak is impressive and the beauty that is due to the combination of existing light and always changing with the clouds, rain, sun and rainbow, or present or absent. The Captain Cook became famous entrance to Milford Sound twice in 1770 and 1773. One of the best hikes in the world begins at Lake Te Anau with a passage by Mackinson to Milford Sound, the trip takes four days. On the way to see all the beauty of Fiodland National Park with its mountains, its fields, forests and Sutherland Falls. Fiordland is one of the places on the planet with greater rainfall.
