The Bridge of Sighs is a beautiful bridge,
the best known of Venice after Rialto Bridge. The bridge connects the court, to prison and the designation “sighs” is due to the fact that when the prisoners passers, sighed because it was the last time they would see the light of day, the sea and freedom. It is on the side of the Doge’s Palace and overlooks the Laguna. It is one of the most photographed sites in Venice. Hotels in Venice
