St Peter’s Basilica is a Late Renaissance
church located in Vatican. It was designed by Donato Bramante, Michelangelo, Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Carlo Maderno. Located in the magnificent Piazza San Pietro (or St Peter’s Square) it was built between 1506 and 1626 and is the most famous church of Catholic world. It is one of the most visited places of Rome.
