Santissima Trinita dei Monti dominate the top of the Spanish Steps in Rome. Inside the church there is one of the most famous frescoes of Rome, “The Descent from the Cross” painted by Daniele da Volterra, a disciple of Michelangelo. It is one of the most photographed churches in Rome. The most common place to get to the church is the Piazza di Spagna but alternatively you can go from the Pincio. Hotels in Rome
