Cinque Terre are five coastal villages

located in valleys surrounded by steep mountainous areas in the province of Liguria in Italy. This region is sometimes called “Italian Riviera” remained isolated until about 100 years ago, when the railway line was built, but the unique landscape of the region has been well preserved, Cinque Terre is considered by UNESCO a World Heritage Site.
