In the summer this small resort town is filled with celebrities seeking sun, there are many floating palaces (yachts) present there.  St-Tropez was a small fishing village, little known until 1956 when Brigitte Bardot filmed there and decided to stay. It was the turning point of a place that today is part of the summer of celebrities. The millionaires who are here, are divided between staying in luxury villas on land or at huge yachts anchored nearby. Unlike the rest of the Côte d’Azur, St Tropez has plenty of sandy beaches. The small village has beautiful and colorful houses, winding streets and charming squares. There are a large number of trendy boutiques, upscale restaurants and many gourmet ice cream parlors.
