The Moulin Rouge (Red Windmill)
is the most famous ballroom of the Belle Époque. During those times Moulin Rouge scandalized respectable citizens and attract bohemian artists of Montmartre in Paris. Henri Toulouse-Lautrec immortalized this season with their drawings and posters of dancers like Jane Avril, some of them exhibited at the Musée d’Orsay.
