Montparnasse
Montparnasse is one of the most
famous districts of Paris. Although many visitors never get to go to Montparnasse, the area is clearly visible due to the Tour Montparnasse at 209 m that dominates the skyline in the south and provides stunning views over Paris. Here lies the famous Montparnasse Cemetery, where are buried the writers, Maupassant, Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Baudelaire and Samuel Beckett and many others. It is one of the most famous neighborhoods of Paris. In some areas of Montparnasse beneath the ground are the tunnels of the Catacombs of Paris. Hotels in Paris
