The Jardin des Tuileries is a
beautiful and public garden located between the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde in Paris. These gardens were created as part of the old Tuileries Palace, adjacent to the Louvre. They were built for Catherine de Medicis in 1564. It is one of the nicest places to walk in Paris and it is worthy a visit. The Tuileries Garden had different names such as Garden of Catherine de Medici, Garden of Henry IV, Garden of Louis XII and Garden of Louis XIV and Le Nôtre. Hotels in Paris
