The Grand Palais is an exhibition space
of the Belle Époque that was built for the Universal Exhibition of 1900 in Paris, along with the Petit Palais. Its glass roof, visible from across the city, is a milestone in the Champs-Elysées quarter. The galleries of the Grand Palais receive temporary art exhibitions.
