The Church of St Sulpice
construction began in 1646 and took 134 years to complete. Located in the heart of Paris, its classical façade was designed by the architect Giovanni Servandoni from Florence. Near the entrance there are two fountains of holy water, made of huge shells, which were offered to Francis I by the Venetian Republic. Do not miss the magnificent murals by Delacroix. The Church of St Sulpice played an important role in the novel by Dan Brown “Da Vinci Code”, many scenes were shot there. It is one of the most beautiful churches of Paris. Hotels in Paris
