Lake Geneva (Lac Leman) is one of the
largest lakes in Western Europe, set on Rhône River, on the border between France and Switzerland, between the Jura Mountains and the Alps. On the shores of the blue lake, lies the wonderful city of Geneva, a historic city with many popular places. The incredible Jet d’Eau, gushes water, at 140 m (459 ft) tall. The hotels and charming lakeside buildings mark the history of Geneva. The medieval cathedral of St Pierre and Place Bourg de Four are two very beautiful places not to be missed in Geneva. Geneva is a global city with many organizations such as the Palais des Nations, the UN Campus, and the Red Cross are some examples. Geneva is a good starting point to visit the Mont Blanc. Do not miss a boat trip on the lake. Hotels in Geneva
