Monfrague National Park is a
beautiful place in Spain near the Portuguese border. It covers an area of 170 sq km (65 sq mi) and is one of the natural highlights of Spain. It is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and its wildlife includes wild cats, Iberian lynx, wild boar, red deer and birds of prey. It is the birds of prey that makes Monfrague a special place.
