At about 6 km (4 mi) from the party island

of Ibiza lies the island of Formentera, a paradise with dreamy beaches. The smallest of the Balearic Islands, has few resources like water, this fact meant that tourism is not developed, it is common to see very few deserted beaches and places of accommodation. Formentera is small and ideal to be explored by bike, coastal areas are mostly desert, the landscape is arid, wild and wooded. When the hippies which reached Ibiza in 1960, began to find the island full, discovered Formentera, and moved there. Bob Dylan acquired a mill and spent several seasons.
