The historical center, in Red Square, one of the most imposing squares world famous, one side is the stunning St.Basil ‘s Cathedral, the other in the State Historical Museum. In Red Square, lies the GUM, a majestic commercial space, Lenin’s Tomb the Kazan Cathedral and the Kremlin, a veritable fortress with towers and cathedrals. The Moskva River is next door and near its margin the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. The best of Moscow is underground, the Metro is a real museum. Moscow has three airports, Domededovo (DME), Sheremetyevo (SVO) and Vnukovo (VKO).
By train: Moscow has many train connections to St Petersburg and other Russian cities. There are also international connections to/from several European cities. You can start the Trans Siberian Railway in Moscow.
By bus: There are domestic and international buses.
