Pico Ruivo
The Pico Ruivo is the highest peak
on the island of Madeira and is located near Santana. The Pico Ruivo is near the Pico do Arieiro and views of each other are stunning. There are a trail between the two peaks. The top of the peak can only be achieved after a long walk, but on top of 1861 m (6106 ft) the views are breathtaking. The climate is unstable and can be dangerous because it changes quickly.
