Estuary Tagus
It is rare to find a prime spot for bird watching
so close to a European capital. The Tagus Estuary, located near the city of Lisbon, is the end of the longest river of the Iberian Peninsula, the Tagus (Tajo in Spanish and Tejo in Portuguese). The Tagus River has 1000 km (620 mi), the river rises in Spain and flows in Atlantic Ocean in Lisbon. There are over 240 species of birds registered in this zone. Hotels in Lisbon
