The 25 de Abril Bridge
(Ponte 25 de Abril in Portuguese) is a suspension bridge that connects Lisbon and Almada on left (south) bank of Tagus River. It is often compared to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. With a total length of 2277 meters the upper deck carries six car lanes while the lower deck carries two train tracks. It opened in August 6th 1966. Hotels in Lisbon
