Located on the Lower Rhine, Arnhem after the bitterness of war, is now a modern city with many charming and historic buildings, especially in downtown. Known in Holland for being a city with many parks and open spaces, Arnhem in its historic center has small shops and pedestrian streets where it’s worth a walk.
