Chios also known as Hios
is a beautiful Greek island lying a short distance from the Turkish coast. Chios has awesome beaches and fascinating villages. Chios Town is the main settlement of the island, has interesting museums and amazing narrow streets. Around the island you can find Byzantine monuments, fertile plains, little villages and many isolated beaches. There are international ferries from Cesme in Turkey and flights from Lesbos and Samos.
