Amorgos is the easternmost island
of the Cyclades. Amorgos is rugged and mountainous. It has a great atmosphere, is quiet and tourism has increased since Luc Besson filmed on the island “The Big Blue”. Katapola is the main port, has a large bay backed by a coastal plain to the southwest. Egiali, further east, has a long sandy beach. There are two charming towns that must visited, Therapia and Langada. Do not miss the Hozoviotissas Monastery. Hotels in Amorgos
