Cesky Krumlov is a small Czech town
situated on the banks of the Vltava River. The city is picturesque and is a perfect symbiosis with the Krumlov Castle situated on rocky hillside near the river. The castle was a stronghold of the Rosenberg family, blending the Gothic with the Renaissance, guided by fined Italian architects. Later the castle was rebuilt and followed a Baroque style. With Dynasty Schwarzenberg, the castle continued to grow, with new rooms, stairs, gardens, theaters, pavilions and a riding school. Besides the majestic castle, don’t miss also in Cesky Krumlov the St Vitus Church, a rare example of Gothic Medieval and the Egon Schile Museum. The historic centre of Cesky Krumlov is considered World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Hotels in Cesky Krumlov
