Liege is a Belgian city situated
on the banks of the Meuse River, near the German and Dutch borders. It was a major industrial centre, then suffered a depression and urban decay but reinvented itself as modern industrial city. It has become an important logistic centre linked to Antwerp and Rotterdam by Meuse River. The historical Market Square has several buildings of the 17th century. There are a large number of churches. Don’t miss the amazing Prince Bishops Palace, the Opera Royal and Hotel de Ville buildings. Hotels in Liege
