it was founded in 1514 by Diego Velazquez. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. During the 17th and 18th centuries, Trinidad was an important site of slave trade. The architecture of Trinidad is stunning with its streets with colorful houses in colonial style. The Plaza Mayor is the heart of the city, it has a vibrant nightlife with many Afro-Cuban bands playing. The Romántico Museo, and the Museo Historico show the cultural part of Trinidad.
