Wineglass Bay is located on the
Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania‘s east coast. Integrated in the Freycinet National Park, the bay is surrounded by mountains composed of granite. Wineglass Bay is one of the most beautiful bays in the world. The amazing white sandy beaches contrasting with the blue sea create one of the most stunning images of Tasmania. The peninsula has some of the most beautiful beaches along the coast of Tasmania and a pleasant climate. In the north of the park you can find Coles Bay, a deep bay with a stunning backdrop of three pink granite rocks located at 300 m (1000 ft) high. Coles Bay is an excellent starting point to visit the national park. The views over Wineglass Bay is one of the main points of the national park. You can get the park by road from Hobart.
