Hamilton Island is the largest inhabited
of Whitsunday Islands archipelago in Queensland, Australia. Hamilton Island is a popular tourist destination and became worldwide known after the promotion of “Best Job in the World”. Known by its white sand beaches, Hamilton Island is also famous for hosts annually the Hamilton Island Race Week Yachting. Another famous events in Hamilton Island are Hamilton Island Triathlon, Clash of the Paddles, Hilly Half Marathon, Hilly Full Marathon, the Great Whitehaven Beach Run and the Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim. It’s the only island of Great Barrier Reef with a commercial airport with flights to/from Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Don’t miss the Hamilton Island Art Gallery, the Catseye Bay, the Allsaints Church and the Whitsunday Peak.
