Fraser Island is a beautiful place
located in southern Queensland. The island is 200 km (120 mi) north of Brisbane and is considered the largest sandy island in the world. Fraser Island is considered World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992. Don’t miss the SS Maheno Shipwreck, the Lake Mc Kenzie, the Lake Wabby, the Champagne Pools, the Orchid Beach, the Indian Head Beach, the Lake Allom and the magnificent Seventy-Five Mile Beach.
