Ko Sichang is situated in the northern
Gulf of Thailand, is small, rocky, is not the most beautiful of Thai islands but has plenty of charms. It is the closest island to Bangkok, located near the coastal town of Sri Racha, where it leaves the ferry which takes 45 minutes. Besides beautiful beaches, there is also the Rama V Palace, built in the 19th century for members of the royal family that were sick. The main beach is not great, but the white sands and clear waters are worth a visit. Ko Si Chang is a great place to eat fresh seafood. Ko Sichang is sometimes confused with Ko Chang, but they are two different islands. Hotels in Ko Sichang
