that make up the Mu Ko Chang Natural Marine Park. It is the second largest island of Thailand (Phuket is the largest), is 30 km (19 mi) long and 14 km (9 mi) wide. Although the quality of scuba diving and snorkeling in Ko Chang is not so popular like in the islands of Andaman Sea such as Phi Phi and Similan. Hat Sai Khao (White Sand Beach) is the most famous beach of the island, where they concentrate most of the evening activities. Hat Sai Yao (Long Beach) and Lonely Beach, further south, are another options. Visit the waterfall at Klong Nueng and Elephant rides are very popular. Ko Chang means Elephant Island due to its shape. Ko Chang is a good starting point to visit the small but beautiful islands of Ko Kut, Ko Maak and Ko Wai. Also it’s easy to get from Cambodia border. Hotels in Ko Chang
