The symbol of Rio de Janeiro
is a statue of 38 m (125 ft) of Christ the Redeemer standing on a mountain, Corcovado mountain is 709 m (2326 ft) where is the statue, Corcovado Rack Railway leads to the top of the mountain and overlooks breathtaking over Rio de Janeiro. The start is in the Cosme Velho station and is 3.8 km (2.4 mi) until you reach the base of the statue, then you can use an elevator or climb 222 steps. The trip takes only 20 minutes but there is little capacity, per hour just enter 360 people, may take some time to get to the Cristo Redentor but in the end will find it was worth the wait.
