Retiro is a barrio (neighborhood)
in Buenos Aires. Retiro is home to the main train terminal of Buenos Aires, the Estación Retiro. Some of the most famous avenues of Buenos Aires cross Retiro such as Avenida del Libertador, Avenida Santa Fe, Avenida Cordoba and especially Avenida 9 de Julio. Don’t miss the Torre Monumental, the Plaza San Martin, the Park Plaza Canada and the Plaza Libertad. There are two Metro (Subte) stations in Retiro, Estación Retiro and San Martin.
